Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny February 3 1950) is an American actress. The actress gained fame in the late 1970s and early 1980s when she starred in several television series, where she typically portrayed a glamorous image. Fairchild was first noticed in the role of Jennifer Pace in Search for Tomorrow in a CBS show that aired on a daytime basis from 1973 to 1977. Then, in 1978, she was on the primetime soap show Dallas as the first actress to portray Jenna Wade before taking a lead role in the NBC series Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for Television Series Drama). In 1984, she appeared as the co-star of ABC's time-slot soap Paper Dolls. From 1985 to 1986, Fairchild played attorney Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest. Fairchild is also a performer in the theatre, and has appeared in television comedies like Murphy Brown, for which she won an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in Comedy Series.
