Summer Glau

 Her first TV appearance was as a guest ballerina in a 2002 episode on the television series Angel. There she caught the eye of director Joss Whedon who later had her on his critically-acclaimed, but short-lived TV show Firefly as River Tam, a role she reprised for the sequel feature film to the show Serenity. Glau had previously auditioned for the Power Ranger role (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssa Erile) in Power Rangers Wild Force. But, she fell short to Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon. She was the role of Shelly, the high school senior in the episode Sleepover. She was also in the "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. " The second season of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girlfriend of Jeremy Erhart). In 2006, Glau played Tess Doerner, a paranoid schizophrenic returnee in the second season's premiere of The 4400, and became a recurring character in season three and beyond. Mammoth was her horror-comedy role. Glau appeared in The Initiation of Sarah, an ABC Family TV film. Glau played Cameron Phillips as a Terminator-infiltration team returned to Skynet to guard John Connor (and Sarah Connor). The seventh episode of the show, "The Demon Hand" was a scene that featured Glau, in character as Cameron is seen dancing in ballet. In the second season's episodes "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young who was Cameron's human doppelganger. Glau was also a guest on an episode of The Big Bang Theory, an CBS comedy that focuses on situations.
